Welcome to Wags n Wellness, where we focus on everyday dog care with a friendly and practical approach. Our mission is simple: to offer useful, honest guidance across the many small facets of caring for a dog — from what goes in the bowl to how the harness fits.
What We Publish
We publish articles across six topic areas: nutrition basics, exercise and play, grooming, training fundamentals, wellness habits, and gear essentials. Alongside those sections, our guides hub carries longer reads on subjects like a new dog’s first week and reading body language, and our resources hub offers printable checklists for everyday routines.
Every article is written for the everyday owner. We explain ideas in plain language, keep routines realistic, and never assume you have professional experience. If a topic crosses into health territory, we say plainly that the question belongs with your veterinarian.
Our Editorial Standards
Three rules guide everything we publish:
- Common-knowledge facts only. We write about well-established, everyday care practices. We do not publish invented statistics, study results, or expert quotes we cannot verify.
- No product endorsements. We do not recommend food brands, gear brands, or sellers, and we do not run ads or paid placements. When an article mentions a type of product — a brush, a harness, a bed — it is about fit and function, not brands.
- No veterinary advice. We are an editorial publication, not a veterinary practice. Health questions are answered by your veterinarian, and we say so on every page of this site.
Keeping Articles Fresh
Our editorial team reviews and updates articles on a regular cycle, tightening wording, refreshing examples, and correcting anything a reader flags as unclear or out of date. If you spot something that looks wrong, we would genuinely like to hear about it — see our contact page for how to reach us.
Thanks for reading, and give your dog an extra scratch behind the ears from all of us.
